It is not necessary for one boat to catch all four species, but no species can be duplicated (i.e., One boat catches 3 species that have 116 accumulated points; another boat catches all four species, but only accumulate 112 points. The most points (116, if you weren't paying attention) wins.
The individual Anglers that win the Grand Slam have their names engraved on the plaque. The plaque is transferred to the new winner each year. |
